Global Director, Growth Marketing
Ana Williams is the Global Director, Growth Marketing at Airship with over 15 years of experience in B2B demand generation and brand marketing from a variety of companies within event technology, FinTech, and MarTech.
Her expertise lies in developing go-to-market and customer retention strategies, as well as building high-performance marketing teams to create long-term scalable business growth. Ana worked on the rebranding and repositioning at ACTIVE Network, still in use to this day, and at Olapic, which remained in place until the company’s most recent acquisition. Ana developed her career specialising in growing brand awareness and lead generation for American companies in EMEA and, over her three years tenure at Olapic, Ana’s work supported the company’s double digit yearly growth, until the time of its acquisition by Monotype for $130million in 2016. After Monotype, Ana moved to a role at Airship in 2020, where her regional successes in EMEA led to an expansion of her responsibility to global head of growth marketing. She has played a crucial role in the implementation of Airship’s launch of a new market category in mobile app experience, which has since become referenced by partners and competitors alike.
Ana has also been a driving force in the implementation of processes and initiatives within Airship to drive better collaboration, internal communication and work efficiencies between the wider marketing team and the various internal stakeholders. Ana holds a business marketing degree from the prestigious Portuguese business school ISCTE and is a Chartered Marketer with a postgraduate diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing in the UK.
