As executive vice president and chief marketing officer at Microsoft, Chris runs worldwide marketing across both the consumer and commercial businesses, including product marketing, business planning, brand, advertising, events, media buying, communications and market research for Microsoft products and services. He also runs digital direct sales and retail partner sales for all Microsoft products. His team is committed to advancing Microsoft’s mission to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more.
Chris’ passion for technology and computing began when he was a kid and wrote a reservation system for their small, family Italian restaurant in Boston using dBASE for DOS on an early IBM PC.
